With over 20 years experience as an Osteopath in central London, I think I’ve seen pretty much every structural problem. People often come in, in lots of pain thinking that their world is about to end and things will never be right! The majority of problems are straightforward when viewed with an experienced eye. In fact if I can’t get you significantly better in three treatments I won’t charge you!

Osteopathy is what I am best known for and what I do best, which is lucky because I love being an Osteopath. It’s great being able to get people better when often others can’t. I feel pretty fortunate to spend most of my working day relating to people and helping them function at their optimum.

I have taught and been head of clinic at central London Osteopathic colleges and worked with professional sports teams, both British and American. I have treated everyone from celebrities to bricklayers, exotic dancers to high court judges, the very young and the pretty old.

I ran my own Health Centre- ALIVE AND WELL in Covent Garden for five years with 16 practitioners and now work mostly on my own in my beautiful practice in Southampton Street, Covent Garden. Sometimes I work there with the fabulous Helen Johnson who you can find out more about on her site. Please email me at info@simonfreedman.com if you have any questions, and have a look at the My Osteopathy section of this website.

Best wishes,

  • I first visited Simon’s clinic having struggled with a lower back injury for a number of years and previously tried allsorts of options to try to manage the impact it has on my life. After that initial visit to simon, who was recommended by a colleague, I couldn’t believe the difference! I almost skipped out, felt 10 years younger and and haven’t looked back! Not only has his treatment addressed a long standing condition but he’s really friendly, intelligent and fun too.

  • The bad news: a van driver writes off the back of my car and rearranges my neck and back. The good news: Simon Freedman.
From my first appointment I have felt confident that I'm in the right hands and, two months after the accident, everything is on the mend. I can even recommend the conversation: be prepared to talk on subjects as diverse as how to arrange the ultimate fireworks display (it involves spending rather a lot of money at Selfridges) to why knees are so amazing.

  • I had an agonising pain in my arm - I can't begin to tell you how bad - and Simon made it disappear in 3 visits. I'm supposed to be a magician by profession but this guy is something else.

  • Simon is a miracle worker. He freed me from suffering severe neck pain in just three visits when my doctor couldn’t achieve anything after three months. Highly recommended!

  • I’ve seen Simon on and off for the last 10 years and he’s always sorted my back problems out better than anyone else I have tried. Plus he’s a lovely bloke and despite the occasional pain I feel walking in to his clinic, I look forward to seeing him and I always leave feeling better, mentally and physically!
